SUPPORTWORKS®
ONLINE
DIRECTORY FOR SOPHIE
 UPDATED MAY, 2009

Support Group Overview
.
We created this page to allow people (usually but not limited to professionals) to find groups by looking in general categories.  Below you will find an alphabetical listing of categories in several sections.  Just click on the link you want and away you go to the listing of groups we know in Mecklenburg County for that category.

If you want more personal assistance, our volunteers answer the SupportWorks information line (704/331-9500) Monday through Thursday mornings.  They can provide information on Mecklenburg County and, to some degree, other areas.

By the way, after 16 years of service, "Sophie" (our electronic telephone voice information system that used to answer when we were not in the office)  has retired; we now have a much simpler answering machine.  We encourage people to use the web site or leave us a message for us to return a call for the more personalized service we prefer to provide to you and your clients.
