Who else keeps the Dog barking?
Wonderful friends such as those pictured
to the right come over to taste test new products and to help pack boxes
for big orders. In addition, John Duncan, owner of Bonterra Dining
& Wine Room in Charlotte, NC, serves the Dog's candy and pastry at
Bonterra and sponsors Barking Dog Chocolatiers as part of his business..

How did Joal & Debbie
learn about chocolate?
They had the wonderful fortune to train with expert
pastry chefs and chocolatiers in Paris, Montreal, Chicago, Philadelphia,
New York, and other locations. In addition to special training in
tempering, they learned other chocolate chemistry, how to design new candies,
and other techniques such as framing, molding, and panning. Debbie
is panning (coating) nuts with tempered chocolate in the rotating drum
in the photo on the left.

Did I see Barking Dog on
the Food Network?
