Alopecia Support Group

A place for
people with, as well as the families of, people with any form of alopecia
(hair loss) based on an immune system deficiency. These include,
in part, alopecia areata, alopecia totalia, and alopecia universalis.
As of the time of this posting, they meet at the Steele Creek YMCA on one
Sunday every other month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information

Support Group of the Carolinas (1747,

This friendly
group provides a safe and non-judgmental opportunity to share ideas, strategies,
difficulties, and successes. The group is comprised of those with
hairpulling, skin picking, and any other related behavior of all ages,
along with their parents, friends, and/or other support people. The
group believes that supporting each other is a vital step towards recovery.
They meet on the third Saturday of the month at the Fort Mill Public Library,
1818 Second Baxter Crossing, Fort Mill, SC. They encourage you to
