Positive Recovery (HIV & Addiction) Support Group. This is a "recovery" group free of religious overtones. Its purpose is to discuss and consider all aspects of addictive behavior. An open group, it will target gay males impacted by HIV and those who support them. It runs the gambit from abstinence to responsible use, with neither guilt trip religion nor shame therapy. The group goal is to support ones individual thinking and not promote group or herd mentality. It is not part of nor a replacement for a 12 step group.
