Empowering Positive Youth (EPY) (782/1680) A program providing two separate support groups for young people from age 13-25 who are HIV + or who are living with AIDS; one group is for men, the other is for women. EPY also provides limited bridge case management helping young people identify and find resources including in part transportation, housing, food, peer su8pport, etc. until age 25. To learn more about their evening support group meetings, you may call Jaysen, the program coordinator, at 704/372-7246 x 112 on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Messages left will be kept confidential and returned as soon as possible the next business day.

We do not know of any particular HIV support group meeting as of now, but as we learn of them, we'll post them above. |

This service provides comprehensive data and referral assistance for nonprofit and government resources in the NC counties of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, and Anson counties and in or near the city of Mooresville, NC. If you are calling on a landline or residential phone in one of those counties, dial 2-1-1. If that fails, if you are calling on a cell phone, or if you are calling from anywhere else in NC, call 866/744-7778. For calls from out of NC, use their local number of 704/377-1100. Although they are open 24 hours a day, you may wish to call weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for non-emergency questions.
