The Metrolina AIDS Project   (16/1654, 782)
MAP lost funding in 2009 and ceased its ability to serve on December 31, 2009.  Individuals and organizations in the community are working to pick up the many services that MAP provided.  We of course focus on support groups and will list them as they appear again under new leadership.  As of this date, we do not know of any groups that meet right now.  If you wish have questions or wish to be notified of any group that forms,  please click here to contact us. Thank you.

zzzInactive groups which are no longer meeting and their last meeting date.
      African-American Men's Support Network (2002) (1584,782)

Positive Connections Heterosexual Men's Group (not the other Positive Connections)  (1481)
      POZ Charlotte (1621)

Groups we suspect may exist but for whom we can't find a contact person:
Since the demise of Metrolina AIDS Project, their services are being picked up as much as possible by other organizations.  We do not know of any particular HIV support group meeting as of now, but as we learn of them, we'll post them above.
