Liver disease
Central Carolina Liver Association (CCLA). This warm and caring group is for people 1) who have had or are waiting for a liver transplant or 2) who have any liver disease.  Families and friends are enthusiastically welcomed to meetings focusing on mutual emotional support, useful medical information, and having a good time.  In addition to Group Listeners (transplant patients) who are available 24/7 to support other members, the group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Carolinas Medical Center (Charlotte), 1000 Blythe Boulevard; enter the main entrance, take the elevators to the third floor, and follow signs to the Tower Dining Room near the cafeteria.  Parking in the deck is free.
