Free or low cost cancer screening for women.  This includes screening mammography (ages 40-64), pap smears (all ages), and clinical breast exams (all ages).

Mobile Health Outreach

This nonprofit organization provides screening tests for breast cancer (mammography) and prostate cancer (PSA blood test) from a mobile screening medical unit. This state of NC preogram reimburses physicians or other medical providers for diagnostic and treatment services.  Eligible families are those whose income is near or below Federal Poverty Levels and who do not have insurance that will pay for the required service.

Medicare is primarily for all American citizens age 65 or over, people of any age with permanent kidney failure, and those of any age with a physical or mental disability.  The Medicare number is for general eligibility requirement, coverage, or payment questions; the SSA number is for information on disability or survivorship benefits.
