The name "Meals on Wheels" is often used to refer to the following two programs.  We do not have a program in Charlotte which owns the name "Meals on Wheels."

Delivery of a hot lunch for people who are homebound and cannot obtain or prepare their own meals.  The majority of meals are prepared with special diets in mind including in part meals for those with diabetes, kidney disease, etc. You can refer yourself or ask for a referral from your physician, social worker, or any professional.

Senior Nutrition Program

Delivery of regular diets to senior citizens 60 and older. There is often a waiting list for services.
